About Zinvoice
Zinvoice started with a simple question: what would invoicing software look like if it was built around the freelance work I actually do?
Why I built it
Thank you so much for giving Zinvoice a try. I’m Rob, the person behind it.
As a part-time freelancer myself, I built Zinvoice to make keeping on top of invoices, payments, time and e-signatures simpler, affordable and a bit less faffy.
This isn’t a huge corporation trying to hide useful features behind expensive plans. One of the things that made me build Zinvoice was discovering that something as simple as repeat invoices meant paying for the next tier up. I do my own taxes and accounting, so I really didn’t want to spend £40-odd a month on loads of stuff I didn’t need.
So I built the sort of thing I wanted to use myself. I really hope you find it useful too.

There is one plan and every feature is included. You should not have to pay for a bigger package just to repeat an invoice or track a job.
The wording, colours, invoice previews, stat cards and little icon hover animations are all there because they make the everyday work feel clearer.
The story so far
I started coding Zinvoice by hand in March 2025. Since then, I’ve used code-assist tools to help build the features on top of that foundation, while keeping the product direction and the details grounded in my own freelance requirements.
The first foundation was written by hand: the start of an invoicing tool built around the jobs and admin I already knew from freelance work.
Every part has a reason behind it, from invoice previews and branding colours to the information shown in each stat card.
If something feels unclear or you think something could be better, I want to hear about it. Zinvoice should keep getting more useful.
Of course, if anything feels unclear or you think something could be better, just reply and let me know.
